1. How long does it take you to set up? 

a. Depending on the venues load in etc it usually takes us round a bout an hour to set up, but we will liase with the venue before hand to make sure everything runs smoothly.

2. A lot of my guest's are not from Scotland and won't know the dances, will you teach them? 

a. Yeah, absolutely our professional Dance Caller will keep you right with the Ceilidh Dance Steps and even demonstrate if need be.

3. Do you play other live music apart from Ceilidh Music? 

a. We are predominantly a CEILIDH BAND however, to give you a break from the energetic Ceilidh Dances we can throw in a few songs for you.

4. For the DJ part can we choose our own setlist?

a. Yeah, that is no problem, just e-mail us a list two weeks prior to the big day.

5. Can we plug our Phone or Ipod etc in to your sound system?

a. You can.... but this has to be agreed by both parties before the day of the wedding.

6. Can we come and see you at an event?

a. Most of the events we do are weddings, so, we will find out where you are based and if there is a wedding/event near you, then we will get in touch with the bride and groom to make sure they are ok with this, generally it's not a problem though.

7. How long do you play for? 

a. If you decide to book us... which is a brilliant decision.....!!! We are booked for anything up to 4 hours for the Ceilidh & DJ Option.

8. What if we want extra time? 

a. We can do extra time but there's a small fee and hopefully this will be discussed by both parties beforehand.

9. Do you need a deposit? 

a. Yeah we always ask for a deposit to secure the date and confirm the booking. 

​

10. When do you need the remainder of the balance? 

a. we ask for the remainder of the balance 30 days prior to the event. 

​

11. How does the Ceilidh Band & DJ Work?

a. Every wedding is different in the way it's set out, however the standard way we do things are - 

6:30 - Band & DJ Arrives to set up

7:30 - First Dance(s) 

Ceilidh Starts Up until Interval or Buffet ''Usually'' 9pm

9:45 - DJ Starts Either to the End or some prople like another blast of Ceilidh

11:30 - Loch Lomond Etc Music Ends

(Based on 4 Hours from 7:30 until 11:30pm)

12. Can we request DJ songs on the night? 

a. Yeah absolutely no problem, if we don't have it for some unknown reason we will find it... but the DJ has an updated database of literally thousands of songs and artists from the 50's to present day chart hits and floor fillers

13. How far do you travel? 

a. We pretty much travel anywhere in the UK and Abroad, normally if we have to travel more thn 3 hours each way... not always, but we may require accomodation.

14. Do you charge extra for travel?

a. We always include travel in with the fee.
