Do you have any questions about our special event?

When Booking a Band for your event, you want to make sure everything is just right with your requirements. 

Here are just some of the questions we get asked, however, if you have a question that isn't here, then please don't hesitte in getting in touch 

1. Where are you based?

A. We are based throughout Southern & Central Scotland. 

2. Do you travel to events?

A. Yeah, We travel the Length and Breadth of the UK and beyond.. From Stornoway to Stockholm, Dundee to Doha, Perth to Paris... You get the drift... oh and we even travel as far as Fife! ;-) 

3. Do you teach the dances?

A. Yeah our Pro Dance Caller Garry will keep you right with the dance steps, So even if you've never been to a Ceilidh Before, there's nae excuse to be sitting down! :-)

4. How long does it take you to set up?

A. Depending on the venue's load in, it normally takes us about 60 minutes to load in and set up, but where possible we will liase with the venue to ensure a smooth set up, so you don't have to worry. 

5. What instruments are in the Band?

A. We most of the time go out as a Duo, including Accordion, With Midi (Midi Means that although there are only two on the stage, you will hear the sounds of the likes of the Piano, Bass, Banjo, Etc) and The Drum Kit. However, for bigger Venues, we can add our amazing Fiddle Player, Guitarist, and Piper on Request. No matter the Line up there will always be a Dance Caller and DJ from within the Band. 

6. How Long Do You Play For?

A. Generally we find anything up to 3.5/4hours is more than enough, however, if you'd like extra, get in touch and we can discuss the options. 

7. Can we Send you a list of Songs for the Disco?

A. Absolutely no problem, just send us a list of your favourites at least a week in advance of your event. 

8. Can we plug our phones, ipods etc in to your PA system once your finished. 

A. as long as this is agreed by both parties when the booking is agreed then that is no problem. 

9. Can we come see you play? 

A. Most of our events are Weddings and Corporate Events, however, we would speak to the clients and make sure its ok for you to come in for a sneak peak, usually this is no problem. 

10. Is there anything you need from us? 

A. Just a plug socket near where we are playing, and we are good to go. 

11. Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

A. Yeah we have PLI insurance of up to 10 million through the Musicians Union

12. How do we confirm our date with you?

A. we will send you a booking form with all the information on how to confirm the booking with the band, once done the booking will then be confirmed and cemented in our diary. 

13. Do you have social media. 

A. You can find us on most platforms, but we don't advertise it as we are useless at updating, due to time restraints!

14. How do you get most of your bookings?

A. Most of our bookings come either from 'word of mouth' or direct from this website.
